It is big news that 15 states, including California, have challenged the new childhood vaccination schedule announced last month and filed a lawsuit against federal health agencies and Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
But what I really want you to pay attention to is the major movement concerning “medical freedom” that has barely been reported on by the mainstream media.
A new coalition called the Medical Freedom Act Coalition, comprising 15 organizations, is now vigorously working to pass laws protecting “medical freedom” in every state across the United States. This legislation aims to create a society where individuals are not forced to undergo vaccinations, mask mandates, or other medical procedures as a condition for attending work, school, or entering stores.
Idaho is leading the charge. By enacting the Medical Freedom Act in 2025, it became the gold standard for this movement. Idaho supporters are also preparing an “expansion bill” to perfect the law, aiming to close any loopholes the government might use to maintain coercion.
This trend continues to gain momentum, and since the start of 2026, approximately 12 states—including Arizona, Hawaii, Indiana, and New Hampshire—have been introducing bills one after another to protect the right to decide what happens to one’s own body (bodily autonomy).
I sincerely hope that more states will join in supporting these efforts, and that the day will come when the fundamental right that “medical procedures should not be forced upon anyone, but freely chosen by each individual” is protected nationwide. Let us watch together for a future where no one is pressured, and everyone can live authentically as themselves.
